Amanda Mullemeister

Naturopath/Founder

Amanda is the founder of Emerald Natural Health and has been a Naturopath for 25 years.

Amanda’s passion for natural medicine came from her own struggles with eczema since infancy. Amanda’s eczema was severe enough to warrant hospitalisation and that was only the beginning. Despite several years of steroids, her skin didn’t get better. In fact, when she stopped using the steroid creams, she developed topical steroid withdrawal and things got worse.

Amanda spent most of her school years with skin that was red, itchy, flaky and irritated. It was because of her many skin reactions to mainstream skincare products that Amanda’s passion for natural skincare was ignited. Amanda trained to become a Naturopath straight after highschool and soon learnt that true skincare needs to be addressed from the inside out and identifying the root cause of an individuals skin rash was really the key to improving one’s skin health.

Amanda holds regular educational workshops and is a passionate and dynamic presenter. She hosts her foundational The Gut Workshop regularly, to help individuals get started on their wellness journey.

It’s Amanda’ mission to help others get to the root cause of their health concerns and feel better again. Amanda realised there was a lack of natural health services in the rural QLD and has created her wellness clinic and shop Emerald Natural Health, to provide better natural health services to the individuals of the Central Highlands.
